An Update From TASK

              TASK

  Mon 12 July

 Hi Everyone,

We hope you have managed to have a break over the school holidays. At TASK, we have been working hard to put things place to adhere to the current health orders. In doing so, we have followed the instructions from the Education Department and our regulatory authority.

We’ve also been mindful of supporting our families and staff during this time. We are writing to alert you to our plans and communications around the return to school/online learning next week. There are also some changes required to service delivery. Below we have outlined our approach to this and the new requirements for Service NSW QR codes and other measures as directed by the OSHC Regulatory Authority.

From Tuesday, July 13:

• As school is open for those who need it, TASK is also open.

• TASK has followed the instruction to implement QR codes at all services. All staff and anyone entering our spaces will be required to check-in (and out) using the Service NSW QR Code.

• All educators working INSIDE with children will be wearing masks. They are not required to wear masks when outside. As directed, they will wear masks when interacting with parents and other adults. To facilitate the new requirements, TASK has the following in place:

• A sign-in-out & Service NSW check-in station outside the rooms/buildings occupied by TASK

• Multiple signage with instructions for those collecting/dropping to TASK: - Wear a mask when coming to TASK.
-Continuing to use the iPad to sign-in/out of TASK.
- Using hand-sanitiser.
- Practising social distancing and coming/going quickly.
 - Using the Service NSW QR code when entering TASK spaces.

TASK have communicated the above and other instructions to families, including:
 • TASK is open for families who need care outside school hours.
• Children with any symptoms are required to stay away from TASK
. • Those families not sending their children to TASK need to advise us of their absence.
 • Links to access support during the Covid-19 lockdown.
• Movements between services and staff have been kept to a minimum in line with the instructions from the NSW Government.

Please do get in touch with us if you have any questions at all. We are super-keen to work collaboratively with you in managing families and services during this time. Warm regards Madi Morrison & Suzanne Tucker - TASK DIRECTORS 1300 827 500
