Giving A Helping Hand

Giving a helping hand to Walgett Public School

helping hands

Mr Rudd is now Principal of Walgett Public School. The community is experiencing the effects of the drought and to add to this, their supermarket was burned down. This means the community needs to drive 180km round trip to shop for food.

On Sunday 30th June, a truck and car accompanied by Ms Bayfield and Miranda (Food Hub), will be making the drive to Walgett to deliver non-perishable goods where Mr Rudd will be able to share with the community and provide breakfast/lunch at school for students.

If you wish to assist by donating goods, please drop off to the office or by Friday, so they can be packed and transported.

Cereal, rice, shampoo, conditioner, tin food, soap, spreads, long life milk, pasta, snacks, tea, coffee, biscuits and water would all be appreciated.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you.
