NAIDOC Assembly

This Friday the 29th of July we will be holding our NAIDOC assembly in the school hall at 9.30am. All parents and family members are welcome to attend. NAIDOC Week falls during the school holidays. It is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society. This year's NAIDOC theme is Songlines – the living narrative of our nation.

This Friday is also a mufti day and it is encouraged that all students at our school come dressed in the colours RED, BLACK and YELLOW. There is no donation requested to wear these coloured clothes. There will be RED, BLACK and YELLOW cupcakes and lolly cups for sale for $1.00 at both recess and lunch to celebrate this important cultural event.
